          His fertile mind teeming with inventions to make life better and save energy, Alexis Belonio has produced a simple, gas-fired stove powered by rice husks, one of Asia’s most abundant farm wastes.

          He is ready to share his low-cost invention, which reduces fuel costs and minimizes greenhouse gas emissions, with millions of families in the Philippines and abroad.
